FAQ

Do you bring everything you need or do we have to provide something?

In general, I bring everything with me: measurement microphones, tripods, cables, laptops, interfaces, software, etc. If I find something missing when looking through your project (e.g. long cables over long distances), I might report with a small wish list that would make my job easier.

Do you work alone or should someone be available during the measurement?

Especially at the beginning it is necessary that someone instructs me in the system setup. The injection of the measurement signal must be clarified, as must the access to the network for controlling the DSP and amplifier. I can do the actual measurement on my own. If we want to optimize specific applications (feedback lectern, stage monitoring), the sound technician who normally supervises the events should of course be present. And in the end it makes sense if we can listen to and fine-tune the final sound together. I want to be sure that I have met your expectations and we are both happy with the result.

How far in advance should we book you?

I look forward to any short-term request. In particular for measurements lasting several days, it is advisable to make an appointment with about 4 weeks' notice.

What happens now?

I will review your request within 2 working days and contact you to clarify any questions and to coordinate an appointment. I'm already looking forward to working with you!
